2012: YEAR OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING

It's looking like, along with the New Year, we'll be ringing in some of the most affordable housing prices in recent history.

According to Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist for the National Association of Realtors, 2012 is expected to be at least on par with 2011 prices, which means that great foreclosure deals are still in store come January.

"Very favorable affordability conditions will dominate next year, which will probably be the second best year on record dating back to 1970," said Yun. "Our hope is that credit restrictions will ease and allow more homebuyers to take advantage of current opportunities."

As we discussed the outline for this month's issue of the newsletter, our conversation led to how grateful we are for you, our newsletter subscriber. Thank you for letting us share our expertise and insight with you each month. We want to say thank you in a meaningful way, which is the genesis for all the great offers we have included in this issue.

Now, I encourage you to "pay it forward" — what can you do to show your appreciation to those in your life that have impacted you? Do they know how much they mean to you? Sometimes life is such a rat race that we forget to stop and take a breath, say thank you and rejoice in those individuals and happenings in our lives.

If you are discouraged because of the economy or experiencing some major trial in your life, take a moment and count your blessings. I have found that when I do, those things that weigh me down and discourage me, become less daunting and more joy is instantly created.
